Privacy Policy Overview

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) sets forth the online data collection and usage policies and practices that apply to the HDT Site, including [email protected]. provided by Colt Canepa DMD, LLC, a Florida limited liability corporation (herein CCDL).  Your use of the HDT Site is subject to this Policy and the Terms of Use available at this link: www.helpfuldentaltips.com. By using the HDT Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Policy and the Terms and that you agree to all of their contents.

The HDT Site and its content is intended for use in the United States only. The information we gather on the HDT Site may be shared within our affiliated companies in order to deliver the products and services we offer. If we decide to materially change this Privacy Policy, we will post those changes through a prominent notice on the web site so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information, and to whom we will disclose it.

(1) What Information We Collect and Process

In some areas of the HDT Site, we request or may request that you provide personal information, including your name, address, email address, telephone number. In other areas, we collect or may collect demographic information, such as your ZIP code, age, preferences, gender, interests and favorites. Sometimes we collect or may collect a combination of the two types of information. Examples of areas on the HDT Site where we collect personal information are pages where you can sign up for our newsletter.

We also gather certain information about your use of the HDT Site, such as what areas you visit and what services you access. Moreover, there is information about your computer hardware and software that is collected by us. In addition, in the event we become the subject of a bankruptcy proceeding, whether voluntary or involuntary, we or our trustee in bankruptcy may sell, license or otherwise dispose of such information in a transaction approved by the bankruptcy court. You will be notified of sale of all or a substantial portion of our business to a third party via email or through a prominent notice posted on the HDT Site.

(4) Use of Cookies, Beacons, and Widgets

Our server automatically collects data about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns when you visit our HDT Site. This information includes your Internet Protocol address, or IP Address, which is a number that’s automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet service provider whenever you’re on the Internet. When you request pages from our HDT Site, our servers may log your IP Address and sometimes your domain name. Your IP Address is used to help identify you and to gather demographic information about our customers as a whole. HDT Site collects this type of information through the use of data collection technologies such as cookies, web beacons and widgets. A cookie is a text file containing small amounts of information which a server may download to your computer, mobile, or tablet when you visit a website or use an app. There are different types of cookies which are used to do different things, such as letting you navigate between different pages on a website efficiently, remembering preferences you have given, and helping us to identify ways to improve your overall site experience. Web beacons (sometimes called single-pixel gifs) allow us to count users who have visited those pages and compile aggregated statistics about our Web site usage. Web beacons collect only a limited set of information including a cookie number, time and date of a page view, and a description of the page on which the Web beacon resides. You may not decline web beacons; however, they can be rendered ineffective by declining all cookies or modifying your browser settings to notify you each time a cookie is tendered and permit you to accept or decline cookies on an individual basis. Third parties are not permitted to use Web beacons on the HDT Site.

Our site may also include social media features and widgets, connecting your social media accounts to your experience. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

You may review, correct, update or change your HDT Site account information at any time.

If you receive newsletters, commercial emails or other communications from CCDL, but subsequently change your mind, you may opt-out by following the procedures set forth in herein.

We retain information we gather about you in an effort to make your repeat use of the HDT Site more efficient, practical, and relevant.

(6) Your Right to Opt Out

Except as necessary for CCDL to provide the services or information requested by you, you may opt out of having your personal information, which has been provided to CCDL, prospectively retained by CCDL.

If you do not want to receive email communications from us in the future, or if you desire that we not retain any personal information, you may unsubscribe via the link at the bottom of the email, or send an email to [email protected] and tell us that you no longer wish to receive email from our company and/or no longer wish to have your information retained.

(7) Security of Personal Information

We have implemented commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. In the unlikely event that we believe that the security of your Personal Information in our possession or control may have been compromised, we may seek to notify you of that development as may be required by law. If a notification is appropriate, we would endeavor to do so as promptly as possible under the circumstances, and, to the extent we have your e-mail address, we may notify you by e-mail. You consent to our use of e-mail as a means of such notification. (8) Policy Regarding Information Obtained From Children

The HDT Site are not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

The HDT Site contain links to other websites over which we have no control. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of other websites to which you choose to link from our Sites.
